Kiulu is a gorgeous multi-purpose gathering space on the waterfront of Ähtäri that opened in 2020. Saunaravintola Kiulu is both a sauna and restaurant as well as the backdrop for all sorts of impromptu events within the city. As Ähtäri is located about 3.5h drive from Helsinki, owners of Kiulu wanted to create this venue to be the new chic travel destination. Tomi designed a fresh, modern and interesting food menu and paired it with vivid wines and cocktails. Tomi and his team trained and coached the kitchen team and designed the kitchen in co-operation with Kiulu’s owners. Tomi continues his work refreshing Kiulu’s menu seasonally.
